Common mistakes when mixing mint green
Mint is a pale, slightly blue-leaning green, and most painters make it too yellow because they start from a warm green rather than a cool one. Starting from a blue-shade green (phthalo blue-green rather than a yellow-shade green) and adding white gets closer on the first try. Too much white and it goes chalky fast, since mint carries less pigment load than most greens to begin with.
