Trycolors caps its free plan at 3 recipes a day and runs $12 a month billed monthly. Chromilla's free tier has no daily limit, and Pro is $8.99 a month. Their annual plan is cheaper than ours, $36 against $79, so if you only need a recipe now and then they are the cheaper year. Chromilla is built for people mid-project who have already wasted paint.

Chromilla Pro and Chromilla Studio each start with a 14-day trial that does ask for a card up front, billed monthly or annually, whichever you picked above. Cancel before day 14 and you are not charged.
What is the difference between Pro and Studio?
Pro is for your own painting: Mix Correction, Area Sampler, Scan Tubes, Tube Calibration, Recipe Scaling and an unlimited Mix Journal. Studio adds everything you need to teach: Session Mode for up to 10 guests, saved workshop templates, shared class palettes and attendee recap emails.
