Common mistakes when mixing light skin tone

Skin isn't a single colour, and treating any hex as 'the' skin tone recipe misses the point: real skin shifts warm and cool across the same face depending on light, blood flow, and the area you're painting. Use this as a starting value, then adjust warmer toward the cheeks and cooler toward the jaw and temples rather than applying one flat mix everywhere. A common mistake at the light end is adding too much white too fast, which drains the warmth out before you've built any up; start from a warm base (a small amount of red and yellow) and lighten last.
